This is the dramatic moment when armed police swooped on a group of suspected armed robbers after shooting out the tyre of what is thought to be a getaway vehicle.
After the driver of the car refused to stop, a policeman opened fire and brought the red Renault screeching to a halt in West Bromwich.
More than a dozen officers - some in uniform and some in plain clothes - then descended on the vehicle.

Police believe the car had been involved in the robbery of a nearby Co-op bank on Saturday morning a few minutes beforehand.
Raiders armed with baseball bats threatened staff before fleeing with an unknown quantity of cash in a waiting vehicle.
Eyewitnesses said one of the suspected robbers was arrested inside a newsagents after police entered the store and told the staff to wait in the back while they brought the suspect outside.

Three other men were told by armed officers to lie down on the ground while they were handcuffed. It is believed two of the men had left a gym on the high street shortly before being arrested.
An anonymous witness said: 'They had been on the treadmill then came out to go to Newstop when dozens of armed police came out of an unmarked white van, before uniformed officers came.
'They were being arrested on the floor a few minutes after leaving the gym.'

Five of the men have since been released on bail pending further inquiries while a sixth man has been recalled to prison. A further two men were arrested in London as part of the same inquiry.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: 'Police received an emergency call at 9.25am on Saturday when two men walked into the Co-operative Bank on the High Street, armed with baseball bats, and threatened female cashiers.
'The men forced the women to hand over money before they fled in a waiting car. Staff were uninjured but were left shaken by the incident.
'Police arrived at the scene within minutes and officers, included specially trained firearms officers, conducted a search of the vicinity.
'A car suspected of involvement in the robbery was located near to the junction with Florence Road.
'After failing to stop for officers a police firearms officer discharged a shot at the vehicle's tyres. Four men were then detained by officers on suspicion of robbery. A further two men were arrested in London as part of the same inquiry.'
